In our seven years of operating yacht rentals in the Canary Islands, we've learned a lot about the local marinas and sailing experiences. We want to share these insights with you, especially if you love yachting or are planning a sailing trip in this beautiful region.

Marina Amarilla Golf (old - Marina San Miguel)

Marina Amarilla Golf, Tenerife

Our base marina with stunning views of the Teide mountain range, and in our opinion, one of the most convenient. Located in the south, just 15 minutes from the international airport, it boasts amenities like a fuel station, yacht services, yacht shop and restaurants on the waterfront. It's an ideal place to start your Canary Islands sailing adventure. And for the golf enthusiasts, there's a club nearby to enjoy.

Marina Santa Cruz

Marina Santa Cruz, Tenerife

Situated in the heart of the island's capital, this well-sheltered marina is more than just a docking spot. It's steps away from Plaza de España and other iconic attractions, surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants. Facilities include showers, toilets, and laundry services. Disadvantage - the northeast wind usually blows in one direction, you can go either to the south of Tenerife or to the south of Gran Canaria.

Marina del Sur

Marina Del Sur, Tenerife

This tranquil marina is in Las Galletas, a small fishing town in the south of Tenerife. It's a quieter option compared to other marinas and offers a more laid-back atmosphere, ideal for those looking for a peaceful stay. This marina offers basic services and is usually not too crowded. It's known for its availability and the local fish market where you can grab fresh tuna for a delightful sashimi – ask us for our secret recipe!

Marina Los Gigantes

Marina Los Gigantes, Tenerife

Known for its stunning cliffs, this marina offers breathtaking views and is a gateway to exploring the western part of the island, including nearby natural attractions and quaint villages. There are often no available places here, so book in advance! Attention. Follow the weather forecast, after a storm the waves reach 5 meters and the entrance/exit to the marina is closed at this time.

Marina Radazul

Marina Radazul, Tenerife

A well-equipped marina offering a range of services for sailors. Its location and facilities make it a convenient choice for those looking to explore Tenerife's eastern coast. There are limited places here, so we recommend booking in advance. If you are unlucky with places, you can go to the nearest marina in Puertito Guimar.

Marina Garachico

Puerto de Garachico, Tenerife
It's a state marina in the northwest of Tenerife, equipped with a protective wall, and has a narrow entrance. Located in the historic town of Garachico, this harbour offers a chance to explore Tenerife's rich history and enjoy the local architecture and gastronomy. Attention. Be careful, there is a rock at the entrance. Check the depths. Inconvenient entrance in the north wind.

Marinas where it is impossible to get up for the night:

Port of Los Cristianos

Situated in the southern part of Tenerife, this bustling harbour is not just for anchorage but also a hub for trade and transport. It's the primary connection point for ferries to the neighboring island of La Gomera, offering a mix of commercial and leisure facilities There is a small marina for local yachts and fishing boats.

Puerto Colón

Located in the south of Tenerife, close to popular tourist areas. This is a large marina, but only for day charter boats. There are no transit places.
