Before you arrive

  • 1. What information do you need from me before the charter?
We need your arrival time at the marina, crew count, whether there are children under 30 kg (so we prepare the right life jackets), whether you plan to set sail on arrival day, and any extras you'd like to book.
  • 2. Do I have to sign anything in advance?
Yes. We email you the contract for online signature through Docuseal. Signing before you arrive saves about 40 minutes at check-in. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder — and if it's not there, text us, we will sort it out.
  • 3. What are your working hours?
Friday to Tuesday, 09:00–20:00. Wednesday and Thursday are days off. For emergencies outside these hours, call the numbers we send you at booking (management / technical / sales).
  • 4. Where exactly is the base?
Ibiza Town, Marina Port Ibiza, https://maps.app.goo.gl/RKCdd1J3EjiEVu2h8. We are on pontoon B. Check-in takes place on the boat itself — we have no shore office open for the public.
  • 5. How do I get from the airport?
Regular taxi is the best way, roughly €15-20 depending on traffic. We don't run a shuttle.
  • 6. Can I bring a pet on board?
Large dogs are not allowed on our boats. Smaller pets are possible — please tell us at booking. Note that any animal on board carries an extra cleaning fee of €150, payable in cash at the base together with the other extras.
  • 7. Which apps should I install before the charter?
Three apps cover almost everything you need on the water. Install them before you arrive and download the offline data — mobile coverage is patchy in some bays.
Windy — weather forecast: wind, gusts and waves.
Navionics (also sold as Garmin Boating) — charts: route planning, depths, obstacles and seabed relief.
Navily — anchorages and moorings: bay-by-bay information, holding, shelter and reviews from other skippers.

Arrival & check-in

  • 8. What time is check-in?
Standard check-in is 17:00. If the boat is ready earlier we let you know, but this is not guaranteed.
  • 9. Can I check in early?
Yes — early check-in costs €300 and your boat is ready between 13:00 and 14:00. The price is fixed. If you book it, we guarantee the boat is ready before 14:00.
  • 10. Can I drive into the marina to unload luggage and shopping?
Yes, but only within a fixed time frame: the vehicle gate is open from 07:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 17:00. Outside that window cars cannot enter the marina, and everything has to be carried in by hand from the gate.

If you arrive with a lot of shopping outside the window, look for the marina staff — the marina has a golf cart and they are usually happy to help. Load your bags onto it and they will drive them from the gate down to the pontoon entrance.

The golf cart driver works 11:00–15:00 and after 17:00 — exactly the hours when the gate is closed. Call or message him directly: +34 621 24 94 75.
  • 11. Where can I park my car?
There are three options around the marina:
Free public parking — no security. https://maps.app.goo.gl/y2xxMrsLG1AUHWrR7
Private open-air parking (€25 per day) — very close to the marina, but no security. https://maps.app.goo.gl/CYHkBwV7ZWsY82EP8
Private underground parking (€25 per day) — with security and cameras, a 15-minute walk from the marina. https://maps.app.goo.gl/5zyQ1c8uDp3G17tA9
  • 12. Can I leave my luggage with you before check-in?
We have no storage at the base. There is a luggage-deposit facility very close to the marina — https://maps.app.goo.gl/5z5kEUWHSnyyzthTA
  • 13. Which berth will my boat be on?
Pontoon B. The exact berth number depends on the order in which boats arrive that day, so we confirm it on the day and our team meets you at the berth.
  • 14. How do I buy provision for my trip?
Clients often use mercadona.es or tuhiper.com. Give the marina address below plus your berth number. We do not provision boats ourselves. Note the 15:00–17:00 gate window when choosing the delivery slot.

    Address for the delivery is:
Avinguda de Santa Eulària des Riu, 17, 07800 Eivissa, Illes Balears
    Pontoon B

For in-person shopping you can use:
    Nearest express supermarket: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6PgcUipwsBxRTbRR8
    Nearest big supermarket: https://maps.app.goo.gl/yEyJN4HsVuo3pw347

Money, deposit and extras

  • 15. What do I pay at the base, and how?
Extras are only paid in cash at the base — typically the charter pack (€550), the skipper's fee if you booked one, and any extras you add.
  • 16. How does the security deposit work?
The deposit of 3,500 EUR is taken as a pre-authorisation on a credit card (not cash). Make sure your card limit covers it. The card may be in the name of any crew member.
  • 17. Can I reduce the deposit?
Yes. Deposit insurance costs €350 per week and reduces the deposit from €3,500 to €700 — your maximum liability for accidental damage becomes €700. It is available to experienced skippers.
  • 18. When is the deposit released?
After check-out, once the boat has been inspected. We normally release it the same day and confirm in writing.
  • 19. What extras can I book?
SUP board (€130 per week), bow tent/sun roof (€150), BBQ, Seabob and similar.
  • 20. Can I stay an extra night in the marina?
Only one night is included in the contract. Extra nights are chargeable and depend on the boat and date. Berths are limited, so tell us as early as possible — the earlier you ask, the higher the chance we have a berth.

On board

  • 21. Is there a coffee machine?
Most boats have a Nespresso machine (original capsules); some have an Italian moka pot.
  • 22. Do the 220 V sockets work when we're not plugged into shore power?
Yes, but you must switch on the inverter. With the inverter on you can charge phones and run small devices at anchor or on a buoy. High-draw appliances such as the coffee machine, kettle or microwave may not run off the inverter — check at your briefing. Solar panels keep the batteries topped up under sail.
  • 23. Is there a fridge? A freezer?
Every boat has a fridge; freezers vary by boat. We usually also provide a separate cool box for ice.
  • 24. What linen and towels are provided?
Sheets and pillows are included. Towels: two per person — one shower towel and one small face towel.
  • 25. What consumables do you provide?
We provide toilet paper, dish soap and sponge. We do not provide paper towels or personal products — please bring your own.
  • 26. What do we do with rubbish?
Please take it off the boat yourselves. There are containers directly in front of the pontoon gate.

During the charter

  • 27. Where can we moor or anchor?
Buoy fields in Ibiza and Formentera are booked at reservas.portsib.es. Everywhere else is free anchorage — please respect the posidonia seagrass.
  • 28. The buoy reservation system asks for a Charter Boat Code — where do I get it?
    Here: Buoys Ibiza PortsIB
  • 29. Where can we refuel and take on water?
The main engine runs on diesel. There are two fuel stations in the port of Ibiza; both open at 08:00 and close for lunch 14:00–15:00. You can also take on water there.
The dinghy outboard runs on petrol, but please do not refill it, the quality of gas is poor in local gas stations.
  • 30. Which VHF channel do we use?
Channel 09 for Marina Port Ibiza.
Channel 74 to call "SailMe" during the dive-check.
  • 31. What are the weather limits?
The charter agreement sets a limit of 28 knots. If conditions look marginal, message us — we advise on whether to stay at anchor, take a buoy or come back into the marina, and we can hold a berth for you.
  • 32. Something broke / we have a technical problem. What do we do?
Message us with the boat name and a photo of the problem. Our technical team is on the island and we fix or replace what we can, including coming out to you or having you return to base.

Check-out

  • 33. How does check-out work?
On your last day: dive check and sail check between 15:30 and 17:00 in Talamanca Bay, next to the port — anchor near the indicated point and call "SailMe" on VHF 74. Then refuel and return to the marina, arriving by 18:00 already refuelled.
  • 34. Can we sleep on board last night?
Yes. Once docked you can stay on board until the next morning — check-out time is 09:00, with bags packed and breakfast finished by then.
  • 35. Can I return to the marina earlier?
Yes, just text us in advance, we will give you instructions.
  • 36. We left something on board. Can you find it?
Message us as soon as possible with the boat name, the date and a photo. We ask the cleaning team, and try to find your belongings.
