Sailing cruise for Ukrainian Veterans

In the heart of Spain's thriving yacht charter industry, Sailme Charter stands out not only for its exceptional sea voyages but also for its heartwarming contributions to society.

Last December, the Sailme Charter company organized two week-long charity catamaran trips for wounded Ukrainian servicemen.

Our guests, brave veterans bearing the scars of service with prostheses and significant injuries, found solace in the serene waters and picturesque landscapes of the Canary Islands.

The trip was full of exciting experiences: the participants “conquered” the Teide volcano, enjoyed the views anchored near the cliffs of Los Gigantes and explored the island of La Gomera. These moments filled their lives with joy and new experiences, something crucial for people who have gone through difficult trials.

Sailme Charter plans to continue this charitable initiative. New groups have already been scheduled for trips to the Canary Islands in January. Our fleet has 8 catamarans and 7 sailboats. When these boats are not used for commercial purposes, they will be part of charitable missions, demonstrating a combination of business objectives and social responsibility. This initiative has become a clear example of how business can contribute to society, helping those who need it most.

Founded by Ivan Bryukhovets, a visionary with deep ties to the sea, Sailme Charter is more than just a business. Of Ukrainian origin (he was born and lived on the shores of the Black Sea, in Odessa), the sea has always been part of his life.

From December to March, we offer cruises around the Canary Islands and the vast Atlantic Ocean. From April to October, we chart courses through the mesmerizing Balearic Islands and the tranquil Mediterranean waters. Sailme Charter isn't just about yacht rentals in Spain; it's about creating experiences that heal, inspire, and bring joy to every soul aboard.
